Footsteps to Heaven – Prayers for Your Lost Loved Ones

Episode #56:  Who’s causing you to suffer because they have turned away from Christ and perhaps even from you and your family? Their rejection hurts and you feel the pain of knowing that their eternal soul is in danger. In Matthew 18:12-14, Jesus says that your Father in heaven is not willing that any of your lost loved ones should perish. Your prayers will be answered! In this episode, Terry Modica provides hope and reassurance that your prayers for them do make a difference. Pray with her as she shares some very powerful prayers that conquer the demons who have pulled your loved ones away from Christ. These prayers can be downloaded from  https://gnm-media.org/prayers-for-your-lost-loved-ones/ . Who else should hear this episode? Please share it! Footsteps to Heaven - Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary with Consecration to Christ

Episode #55:   Remember to take time during the remaining days of Advent to slow down and spend a little extra time with Jesus. Personal renewal awaits you in prayer and meditation. This episode gives it to you. We’ve recorded a Good News Rosary of the Joyful Mysteries. It is, of course, different than all other rosaries. It includes meditations written by Terry Modica to make the Joyful Mysteries very personal for you, and it begins with a  Prayer of Consecration to Christ . We've had an interactive "cyber-rosary" on our website for 20 years. The blue rosary beads turn gold as you pray on each bead. You’ll find all four sets of mysteries at  gnm.org/prayers/pray-the-rosary/start/ . A downloadable PDF of the rosary in this podcast is available on the first page of the Joyful Mysteries. Footsteps to Heaven – An Advent Novena

Episode #54:  In this special episode, Terry Modica interviews Bill Snyder, author of a book of Advent meditations, called  A Contemplative Las Posadas , based on the  novenario  that's celebrated in Hispanic cultures.  Las Posadas  is Spanish for lodging, which in this case refers to the inn in the story of the nativity of Jesus. Traditionally, people go from house to house asking for lodging, re-enacting Mary and Joseph's search for lodging in Bethlehem. They begin on December 16th at dusk, dressed up as angels and shepherds. Two are dressed as Mary and Joseph. Finally, on December 24th, they are welcomed into the house and everyone celebrates. Bill has turned this into a novena of reflections on the nine themes of  Las Posadas . His book can be used in private meditation or it can be used by groups who take it from house to house or on a pilgrimage within the church, like the Stations of the Cross.
